Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born on 16 March 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea, is a popular Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea, who began appearing as bit roles on Irish or British TV programs in the year 2009, made her debut by performing stand-up comedy in the year 2011. In 2012, she started to appear regularly on sitcoms and sketch shows. After winning an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for numerous panel shows for which she is now a regular. In 2016 and 2017, she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, in addition to being a performer in the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. The actress is the child of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her older sister was born. In 2012 she was the first woman ever to win the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea Her maiden name, which is her birth name, pays tribute to her late dad. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan is the daughter of a Kildare born girl. She was born the 16th of March, 1984. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who was killed after Bea turned three, was a sufferer of self-harm. Bea was informed of his death only at thirteen years of age. To honor the man she loved, Bea adopted the stage name Bea and in 2017 published an article on suicides that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea's mother Helen was also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey was in charge of the care of her daughter and Sinead. She and her family loved horses, race meetings and the racing industry. Bea was a guide at The Irish National Stud in her young days. However, she knew that it wasn't what she wanted to do for a living and that she was more interested in performing.
